Intake, header, cat-back+hi-flow cat, mild cam swap and lighter wheels is about as far as you want to go without going turbo. Ironically you could piece together a decent turbo setup for the price of all of the above and make a whole lot more power.

Some advice: Quit thinking about how you want your car now and save for a turbo/swap. You will love yourself if you do.

QFT. The bolt-on/mild cam swap/ etc route is a dead end. It may yeild you about 20-25hp if you do drivetrain mods too. Considering that most healthy stock KA's dyno about 125-135hp, another 25hp brings you to about 160hp. Which ain't s***.

You can piece a very basic turbo system together for anywhere between $900-$1500 and make over 200hp. Just do your research.

And why did you make 2 threads about this?

Basically, nothing if your definition of fast means anything lol. You could dump a fortune into a naturally aspirated build and would barely break 200HP if you're lucky.

I had to learn the hard way that people who ask this question don't really know what 'fast' is...

248 cam + cai + catback, all can be had for under $200.00these plus a few hours labor = 10/15% hp increase. I say its worth it. Yeah not big hp but still easy. Everything but the cai will be useful when going turbo anyway.
