i have the sequence to program my '05 Q45 intelli key from the FSB. Insert key 6 times then turn to ACC. Question is, will programming the new key delete the original key's ID from the car? It appears the car will hold four IDs, but will this method work?

Typically when you program the keys you need to program them all at the same time, when using Consult it even prompts you and advises it will delete all keys during operation. Now the method you're talking about I don't use because I have Consult.

Thanks Jim. I have a Nissan dealer up the street who can program it for $100. Once the remote gets here from eBay, going to pull up to the service center and try programming it in the parking lot. If it doesn't work, and messes with my original key's code in the car, at least my car isn't a beached whale in my driveway.

thanks again for the response ...

That sounds like a good plan! What them charge you a towing fee to get the car into the service bay :D
