Does our altitude justify 91 oct fuel in our area?

Well, It just doesn't seem so at ~3762ft... w/the super hot summers we have.

So is 91 oct justifiable in El Paso tx or are we getting ripped off on the precious 93?

hey chingon, i don't have an answer to your question, sorry. but i do have a question for you. that 300zx fuel filter you mention in your sig. will that work on a 1990 240? what kind of hp gains are we talking about here? if so, how much would an autowrecker part cost do ya figure?

no...that's sarcasm in my sig...(i'll prob. change it soon). They run anywhere from 5-10 bux at autoparts store or walmart so I wouldn't go to the wrecker for just a filter.

Some ppl claim better throttle response, but I doubt this.
