does my new 93 se vert have a stock amplifier?

buddy of mine had an extra harness adapter.
all the wire colors match up exept for a blue with white stripe coming from the sterio end.(i do belive this is the remote wire for aftermarket amp)
and a blue and orange coming from the adapter end. no idea what these would be.
i pluged it in and it didnt turn on.

just putting in a cd deck no amplifier or subs

the only thing you need for a stereo to power on is:

Ground
12V Constant
Ignition Power (gives it power when you turn the key over, turns it off when key is removed.)

This is with factory and aftermarket unit. Everything else is speaker wires.
If you cannot get it to turn on, then you have an issue with one of those three things.

Your Aftermarket stereo harness (the one that came with the CD Player, not the one to put it into the 240), should almost always be Blue with White stripe, so if you do not have an amp, leave it insulated or cap it.

The front speakers are "Active" but they have their own self-contained small amplifiers (if you could even call it that lol...)

One last thing you might want to check:
Your antennae might need to be plugged into CD player to turn on. (You will need an adapter if you did not have an aftermarket one already). They can be bought at Best Buy, just talk to someone in car audio.
