IT IS PAID FOR!!! :woot:

Sold my Camaro. With the economy the way it is, I just couldn't see letting $9000 sit in my garage. It was litterally the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Sold it to a great guy. He really loves the car. Now the Z is ALL MINE! :)

If you had seen me crying like a baby as I was taking the license plate off of it you wouldn't say that. Really, in a sense, it is a little bit of a relief. That car was only worth that much because it was all so flawless and original. One run in with an idiot Memphis driver would have put an end to that.

It is nice to have that garage space to have all the lawn equipment organized in too.

If I ever get another toy (which I doubt), I want a real old 60's type muscle car.

You just get them to make the new Mustang super nice. I might go for American Muscle again. Depends on the future of the Z. Whatever I get next has got to be awesome since I will only have one car.

You did the right thing.....let somebody else enjoy the car and get some good $$$ in return. You will always have some regret, but that is natural.
Wait til the 2015 stang comes out..... :yesnod
FINALLY moving forward away from the retro crap.

That's yet to be seen. Stang has been retro since '94 I'm afraid.

I disagree....didn't think the exterior or interior was retro in my 97.
Sure, there were styling ques that were mustangish...but, not retro like the current crap.
With that said, the cockpit and dash did remind me of my 69 mach's.....but, I don't think that was retro.
Everything that I've seen says 2015 will be the year they start going forward again with it.....I HOPE!!!!!
I still love driving my G coupe!! Fits me well!! Perfect size....my Z with a back seat! :gapteeth:

One of the main points of the '94+ was the retro style tail lights, the side indentions, the floating pony grille, and the dash curves. Sure, you could say it was more "classical" today than other cars that have come out with full-retro looks.

My sister made the mistake of buying a '94 Vert when they came out. Was OK but had tons of chassis noise and the v6 was anything but inspiring. Personally I liked my Probe GT better...other than the whole FWD part and only 176hp

wow... cant believe you sold that car you always talking about.

im still salty about my 1996 jeep being gone in 2011... i didnt sell it, i let my mother borrow it and the anti freeze hose got a leak while she was borrowing it, i live about 2hrs from my mother, so i told her to get the hose replaced. 3 weeks later i get a call that my jeep over heated and the engine locked up smh. hard to be mad at my mother but that jeep had so many memories and was running great past the hose that needed replacing. i had no intentions on selling him.

Got the nicest email from the guy that bought my Camaro. I won't bore you with the whole email, but do you think he likes the car???

"Well me and Rambo are getting along great. The weather is not co-operating. We have been out a few times. My whole family can not believe the car. They were very impressed. When I took the car over to my older brothers house, (he lives less than a mile from my house) I called him and told him I bought a new car. He asked what did I get. I told him a 1995 camaro. He said what did you buy a junker like that for, I said step out side and see. Needless to say his mouth dropped. For the next 5 min all he kept saying was DAMN. He kept waking around the car and saying DAMN.. It was funny. Not what he expected when I told him a 1995 camaro. He pictured a beat up one. He took a picture and sent it to his son who is at Mississippi state. (He loves cars) My brother texted "Here is a picture of Uncle Joes New 1995 camaro." His son texted back "get out of here, that's photo shopped." Very funny moment. Needless to say everyone in my family loved the car. I have washed him twice and waxed him once. I even buffed the rims. He still looks really cool and very sharp. I wasn't able to get a vanity plate this year. It cost 825.00 for the tag. Had to do the right thing and pay uncle Sam the taxes on the car. Next year I am going to try and get Rambo. Everyone calls the car Rambo. Its really cool. My daughter asked me to take her to church in it and said "Dad can you take Rambo" not dad can you take your car. Its official. He's been adopted by the whole family."

Really makes me feel good to know he has a good home. Oh yeah, and I got the title to my Z Tuesday. :woot:

wow its crazy how a car becomes part of the family... just like a horse back in the day. A car will end up in the background of a lot of pictures of big moments in your life. some cars might be in more pictures or video than some people in your family lol.

Ya mean like this one?? This is one of my favorite pics. It is when he was brand new. Still had the factory rims. It is when I first discovered that my son was taller than I was!!! He was only 12.

Time is flying by. I used to think I had half my life left....now, I've got about 24 years before I reach the age my dad and both grandfathers passed away....and 10 years can fly by at the blink of an eye.
