does my 240sx have an lsd rear end? how can i tell ? anyting in the vin ?

im wondering what are some ways without jacking the car up or taking out the rear end to tell if its an lsd rear end.its a 90se 5spd.what years did the 240's have lsd rear ends? whats some easy ways to tell if one has it or not?

1. Lift the car and turn one wheel one way and the other one should spin the same direction.

2. Look for an orange VLSD sticker on your diff and see if it has a vented rear cover

3. Do a burn out and turn and see if there is one skid mark or two.

also you can look up how to read MIN # (located on the firewall) that tells you also

Tried looking up MIN in search and kept finding references to minutes. Anything more specific?

Also, I tried looking up information on OEM differentials as I don't believe my 240 comes with one. How many flanges and what is it referred to? R200? Etc?

open diff is r200 and lsd is r200v

You don't have an lsd. You have a '90 and they didn't come with them as an option till 91.
