Does KA alternator fit on SR?

Hello,

I'm desperate to find an answer to a question I posted on various 240sx board and I didn't get a straigth answer.

I have an S14 SR and the alternator is going. It doesn't charge to the max. (11.5 when cold and 13.5-13.9 on idle).

It's the top part where is the connector is located that is slowly falling apart... and the connection is not good.

The question is: Does the KA alternator fit on my S14 SR? (BTW it's in an S14)If yes... Is it bolt-on? Requires minor fitting, requires lot of fitting? Or it's just plain impossible.

I did a search on many web sites and couldn't find one answer that is the same.

Should fit if you transfer the pulley. Put the SR pulley onto the KA alternator.

The 1992 Sentra SE-R Alternator fits like a glove. Connectors are the same and all.

It's not helpful...but the KA alternator will NOT fit on a CA...no matter what.
