does jdm sr20det gauge cluster work with ka24 dohc?

To tell you the truth I would not see why it wouldn't because when you do an SR swap into 240sx with the SOHC motor in it you have to get the gauge cluster from a 240 with the DOHC.So I would say yes it would work.

sorry to bring this old thread up..

i believe you need the jdm S13 harness to plug and play with ka24dohc..

can anyone confirm?

you don't need a jdm harness, hey are both 3 plug harnesses. for the type x cluster however, you need a harness as well as a few sensors

your fuel level, headlight indicators will all work, i believe the only issues come with the speedo output, in which the KA is calibrated for MPH and in Japland where the SR's read out in KPH... it will make you think your going faster with the wrong sensor...

Well, I think USDM and JDM transmissions have same speed sensors. Only cluster displays KMH or MPH. Just like you can switch back and forth in USDM digital cluster. Sensor difference is only between the chassis s13 and s14.

You can use it and it makes no difference. Speedo works just the same. The only difference is that the RPMS rev to 9 and the speedo is in km/h.
