Hey,I was looking at some intercoolers with different piping sizes. Ive read online about some people with 2 1/2 inch piping cooling over 400 hp. I have also seen some people with 3 inch piping; does it really matter between the 2? Are there major dofferences in flow? I really dont plan on going over 350 for a while so am I jusr better off getting 3 inch or does it really matter?

Thanks,

Charlie

Unless your flowing ALOT of air, 2 inch is fine (or whatever the throttle body is). Smaller piping = Less volume to pressurize = Better response.

turbo outlet is 2, so I'm running 2 inch from turbo to intercooler (hot side) and throttle body is just over 2.5 (2.6 on a CA18) so I'm running 2.5 from the intercooler to the Throttle Body (cold side)... anything much bigger isn't really neccissary IMO.

this is on my CA, btw, so your SR throttle body might be larger or smaller, I really don't know:)
