For all the golf fans, the PGA is sponsored by INFINITI (w00t!)

However, I just saw a commercial, and they only pushed the G35s, FX45, and Qx56.. Kind of unfortunate..... they must not really want to make money on these cars, because they should really fit in to the crowd there....

BTW, in the parking lot there were ALL 3 GENERATION of Q!!! Got a picture of an F50 and Y33 NEXT TO EACH OTHER... Very nice, and was a highlight of the day...

Very odd phenomenon lately, all I've been seeing around since the Senior Open left (and it was nothing but Cadillacs) are Q45s and M45s. Yesterday I saw at least 5 new Qs and one G50. Today I saw a Y33 (1997ish, no analog clock) and another G50.

I was backing out of my spot at Autozone yesterday and a guy in a black G50 (90-93) pulled up next to me. We exchanged looks, and I was about to give him a NICO invite but I was soaked in antifreeze and covered in mud and dirt and just wanted to get the hell out and go home.

And I think the MBAs at Infiniti feel that the Q and M dont thoroughly convey the "New Infiniti" brand image. Theyre both relics of Old Nissan.

Yeah. They aren't gonna push the M until the new one comes out, and likewise for the Q.

Infiniti will push the new M, like you have never seen.

They pushed the current M heavily, but the market didnt respond, so they have backed out.

The new M is the most important model Infiniti has had since the original Q. The G brought the sales, but it speaks for its self.

The Y33 has such a compelling luxury presence when seen in person. You really look at it when it goes by. A total opposite of the G50's stealth-performance image.

After the gorgeous black 97 I saw today, I certainly wouldnt be against owning one.

Espically with some choice JDM parts. It can go to luxurious looking to downright fierce.

Y33 has some nice HDM aftermarket

Wes, if I ever had to park on a grass lot like that, i suppose I'd wish I had the Y33's off-road capabilities stock lol!! Now it's low, and I'd be a tad bit nervous driving on that, haha. Nice pics mang!

Just saw a commercial about a year-end promotion... low interest rates, etc. They showed the G35, FX, and QX. The M & Q weren't even mentioned :(

I am enjoying the 2nd gen love, this is what I'm talking about, I LOVE my 97', I still look back at it when I park just to see her, especially when clean and now with my bigger tires and rims. I tell you that I do not even think about buying something else (I still slobber over the new Q's interior)....waiting for new M!

2nd Gen looks good...but 3rd Gen looks awesome!

3rd Gen by design has more horsepower than 2nd Gen, but how does the performance specs add up? Will a stock 3rd Gen beat a 2nd Gen (both early and late F50 with and without the transmission correction from Infiniti)?

The 3rd gen with the transmission thing is as fast if not faster than the 1st gen, and just a touch not as quick as the M45...

That said, a F50 gen REGARDLESS should wipe a Y33..

Same here, everywhere I go, I look at her after getting out and walking away, as well as walking back. But unlike you, although I do like the new M, I just love the current M. I compared pics of the side profile of the M and Y33 and they have VERY similar profiles. I passed a clean M on the Fwy the other day, we gave each other that "nod". That's gonna be my next car, provided gas doesn't go to 5 bucks a gallon as my trader friend tells me it will

You're friend will be broke, if he believes that. Tell him to continue to short crude. I will enjoy taking his money on the way down

Well, gas IS going down right now, but this guys been a trader for years and he's positive in the next two to three years it will be at 5 or 6 bucks a gallon. He said gas will go down below 2 bucks for a while, then it will just keep going up. I certainly hope he's wrong...

That's such an easy comment to make, but it's totally ridiculous

Gas is 5/6 dollars a gallon in places that tax to death, in order to avoid consumption.

Only way we goto 5-6 gallon is if the US govt tries to curb consumption.

That would crush our economy. The Transit industry would be in shambles.

I sure hope it's just a rediculous comment. I love my 17.5 mpg V8.
