I have a 1990 240sx coupe, and i'm planning on swapping in either a SR or RB, I just want to keep my heads up speedometer running! That thing is friggin sweet. Does anybody know if it still works, or if there's a way to make it work? I greatly appreciate any help!

I use my 89 HUD with my SR swap. You should be alright.

DrifterProdigy85,

Did you swap your SOHC tach with a DOHC tach to make it work w/ your sr swap? I believe you also need to use the DOHC gauge cluster harness dont you?

You can use the stock cluster harness. Yes i did just swap the DOHC Tach in. I eventually swapped a JDM Silvia Tach in which worked too.

Cool thanks for the info. 1 more question tho...

Do you have to use a DOHC HUD Tach? Im not sure if the HUD Tach's and regular Tachs are different shaped.

Thanks

Both tachs i used were from Analog Clusters. Youll be fine.
