Well?

I ask because if it does, it's not doing anything all that noticeable. I test drove a regular J30 the other day, and it's WAY more floaty than my J30t, but as far as the 4 wheel steering, I couldn't tell either way.

Seems like a big headache to me...

Yes it does. Do a search here on HICAS to discover how it works.

Yeah, it makes the car more expensive to maintain.

HICAS is excellant for untrained drivers [those that have not attended a 2 week driving school [with their J30] or who don't make their living racing]].

The minute REAR toe correction helps average drivers avoid accidents in snow and rain when the rear tires might get loose from accelerating at the wrong time and position in a curve........not accelerating at the apex or using the brakes inside the curve instead of before.

There have been almost no complaints about maintaining HICAS systems in J30s. I can only recall seeing one (which appeared recently) and it was suggested that the problem was due to low fluid. Hardly a biggie.

It basically makes up for understeer. Definately makes a difference on high speed swooping turns on the interstate.
