I can't figure out how to connect Door to Door app to 2021 Rogue SL.

I set up Nissan Owners account and PIN, NissanConnect app works file, all NissanConnect services are active.
I installed Door to Door app on my Pixel 3 and logged it into an account I set up.
Then I un-paired bluetooth connection and paired it again. I expected a popup as described in the "DOOR TO DOOR NAVIGATION QUICK START GUIDE"

Bluetooth connection works fine, but the app never connects to the infotaiment system. "Sync door to door" setting in the car complains that it cannot find connected phone with the app installed.
It did not work on iPhone either.

NissanConnect support walked me through the same steps and then suggested visiting the dealer. Dealer's technicians did not know what to do with it.

Does it ever work on '21 Rogue?

2021 Rogue "door to door" navigation features works with NissanConnect app and require premium NissanConnect subscription.

Door to Door Navigation app works over Bluetooth and it is supported by 2020 Rogue as shown here.
