does anyone use the apexi silencer on their n1 exhaust?

I use one on my gtspec and it does make it alot quieter, it does sound kinda farty when its on tho. I only put it on if im going on a trip, becuz with it out, the droning gives me a headache.

Silencers suck.

May as well put the stock exhaust back on if you're gonna choke it down with a 1.5" opening.

you do have a point . I just want my exhaust to be quieter to give it more a sleeper and also so i can heard the turbo way better

It won't make your car a "sleeper." If anything it makes it sound more ricey because in the upper RPM's it gets pretty high pitched (and mine whistled too.)

and by putting it in you wont be hearing your turbo more.... silencers choke turbos

Some guy at school bought something off Ebay that looked like a silencer but it made a real loud squeak when he shifted, sounded like a crappy BOV.

Maybe you're thinking of one of those to make the "turbo" louder?
