Hmm, if you find an answer, please post it. I am looking also for my s14. Not sure where or how I'm going to fit an 8" midbass and 3"midrange on the doors, but there just has to be a way.

you could always get some fiberglassing materials and make your own pods. if you had the time and patience, it could be fun...

Nah, they don't make 6x9 speakers for the class I am looking at getting. I am planning on getting competition class speakers ($1200+ msrp although much cheaper in some places).

I would if I had any artistic skill at all. Unfortunately I don't so I won't be messing around with that stuff. I am trying to get my car as "clean" as possible (magazine ricer clean look without all that body kit/etc. nonsense). I guess its more of a neat factor like I just bought the car from a dealer (they clean everything ).
