Sorry for posting this again bu I thought maybe some other people might see this that haven't.Right now the car is not running,It turns over but will not start.I know it's not the battery, starter, fuel pump, spark plugs,or fuel filter.I have found this wire hanging from a group of other wires. There is one red wire with a blue stripe and a black wire,it is by the starter and intake manifold on a 1990 240sx.Anybody have a thought?I think it maybe why the car is not starting.

i doubt it if it's capped like that. i have found a few things like that on my DE. i just finished fixing the same problem on mine. for me it was a wire shorting my ecu harness and grounding into my trunk blowing my ENG CONT 25A fuse. have you checked ALL of your fuses?

Well I didn't realize that was a cap on that wire, whoops,oh well.I have checked all the fuses and they were all good. This morning when I tried to start the car after checking the fuses it seemed to turn over allot better to where it sounded like it was about to start but then it just went back to how it was turning over before.

Ok well this maybe important, maybe not.I started taking simple things off to check them,I was taking the air intake off all the way to the throttle body.As I was taking off the tubes I could smell gas kind of strong. When I got down to the throttle body I pushed open the throttle plate, when I did the smell of gas was extremely strong.I did the same thing on my other car that is running fine and I could barely smell gas at all,if not at all.Could this be part of the problem?
