does anyone know if it matters what type of coverage you have to get your windshield replaced?
i've heard numerous times from friends and other people that you need full coverage.
but a cop told me it doesn't matter what type of coverage due to the importance of it.

it depends what broke it. awhile ago my wife was driving through a construction zone and a stone hit her windshield from the construction. she just called penndot and they paid for it

Also, WTF? It's only about $250 for a new shield. If you're gonna lie about it then you are a chump.

not true. my dad bought his truck with a huge crack across the windshield and the insurance company replaced it. im thankful we dont have inspections or emission test in florda

they're not going to replace a windshield that was cracked before you took ownership of the car and insured it through them.
