Does anyone know the exact location of the ecu in a S14? It must of be tucked away pretty good, because I have a 95 Altima too, and it was easy. If someone could please post, the location and how to access it I would greatly appreciate it. I did a search for it but wasn't successful.

It's right in front of the pasenger door neer the floorboard. Just pull that panel and it's there.

There is a procedure at 240sx.org in the FAQ section that demonstrates the reset procedure.... can't remember off the top of my head.... but yes you can do it using the flat-head screw.

Yeah, you can reset it. It's all in the faq at http://www.240sx.org under FAQ, ECM Codes

Just wanted to say that I didn't see any flathead screw at all on my S14 ecu. I almost took it all the way out looking. Where is the screw at? Does anyone know, who owns a S14?

It's on the bottom end (towardfs the floor.Disconnect the mounting bracket without unplugging it, and you will see it.

So tell me this if you would. How does the bracket unclip? There is like a metal bracket in the front, where one on the screws come out. Do you have to bend this out to make it unclip? And is there only 2 screws or more? Thanks:help

you just push the ECU up and back and that should unclip it... then just slide it out... I did it reading the FAQ... it took me a while because I was very careful. I dind't want to bag it or anything. But the FAQ is right on the dot with the step by step procedures... If you can see the ECU then you should be able to figure out how to get it un clipped from the wall.
