or have a ballpark estimate of how much the dealership (Infiniti) will charge to replace my rear lower control arms? I have found the parts for relatively cheap (about $76/ea from Infiniti of Scottsdale) and just want a guesstimate of how much the labor will cost me for the dealer to install them. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Why would you go to a dealership? Id estimate its a 3-4 hour ticket, so $240-320 install estimate

OR

Go to a local shop and pay $40/hour

OR

Check graigslist for some mechanics for hire in your area, regular mechanics with all the tools looking for side jobs and only looking for $20/30 an hour

When I needed a hand doing my power steering rack I found a guy with a lift in his garage and we banged it out in a few hours ( i helped, just needed his lift basically ) and he took $100

Local shops wanted $350 labour

if youre replacing the whole arms thats not hard at all its four (4) bolts total... just make sure u have the new bolts ready, you'll need them.

are the bolts generic enough to be bought at an auto parts store or are they a dealer only purchase?

If you have the arms you could do it yourself, even if you're not mechanically inclined

As long as you have a couple tools its a simple fix. If you have a lift be sure to watch your camber.
