how many teeth and what color is the KA24DE speed sensor gear/spindle?

As far as I know, the ka24e is Brown with 21 teeth.

I know that if there is more teeth, the MPH goes down and thats pretty much what I need for my DOHC since it's still witht he SOHC speed sensor gear.

if you are trying to see if speed sensors are interchangeble within transmissions then yes. i have used E transmission in my 98 with DE speed sensor. if i remebmer correctly gear collor on DE was umm brown/dark red i guess. hope it helps
