Did you figure things out with your M35x? My 2008 M35x needs new front struts and i don't want to pay the $1,000 for parts.ZMQguy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2017 5:02 pmwell, i ended up ordering these KYB 340010 Excel-G OE Replacement Shock
KYB 340011 Excel-G OE Replacement Shock. they're for a g35x. stands to reason, i guess. i already have wheels from a 07 g35 coupe, and tein h. tech springs for a RWD m35. lets just mishmash everything. hopefully later this year i can do a bbk from a g37....
So long as it doesn't muck up my suspension parts or geometry, i hardly care.picoman wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:24 amI am going to be installing the 340010/340011 KYB Excel-G's (G35X fitment) in the next week or two. I will report back. Others I have seen have noticed a slightly shorter length on the G35x units but the Excel-G documentation shows that it has a shorter uncompressed length due to an internal anti-roll spring.
Any update on this man?picoman wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:24 amI am going to be installing the 340010/340011 KYB Excel-G's (G35X fitment) in the next week or two. I will report back. so what your saying is...were are basically f*** with paying dealer prices for struts.TN_INFINITI wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 7:27 amI tried the KYB G35x struts in my m35x and found them to be too short and it affected my caster (front end was about an inch shorter than the rear).
I contemplated installing front strut spacers or lowering the rear, but ended up undoing everything and going back to stock struts, which probably weren't bad anyway.
