Does anyone know how to make a Greddy Ultimate work on a 83' 280zx Turbo motor? I installed an 88' ECU and made all of the modifications shown on the Jim Wolf Technology site (450 hp conversion). When the car is on the dyno, the injectors cut out under load at about 2500 rpm.

The setup:

1. 88' Z ECU (high impedance injector computer)2. 88' Z Mass Air Sensor3. Greddy Ultimate 4. Drop resististors inline to stock low impedance injectors5. Encoder disk from 84-89 VG30 distrubutor

If I can't figure this out Im going to the Megasquirt ECU system.

Welcome to Nico!hmmmm... well unfortuantely I know nothing about the greddy system other than it's a piggy back, some additional info might help a bitwhy stock injectors? you can max them out on the stock injectionthe car runs and drives? just a little glitch at 2500rpm? will the car go past 2500rpm at all?does the greddy have an adjustable redline?which side of the coil cuts out on the syno? is it the constant hot? or the square wave trigger?did you swap over the correct O2 sensor?did you use good resistors? metal case or ceramic?

why didn't you do megasquirt or SDS with the cost of the z31 parts plus the greddy seems it would have been as cheap to go sds and cheaper to go megasquirt, I am running MSnS and love itdoes the greddy system tap into the injector wires at all?
