They pretty much do, it's just rigging up a way to keep the hood from falling one way or another when it's sitting up at a 90 degree angle.

thought so. personally i just tend to take the stock hood prop and find someplace else to jam it. i have a habit of running into things constantly so i like hoods to be as up as possible

a trip to the junkyard and some ingenuity should net you a "side mount" prop rod that installs on the fender rail, and then its just a case of finding a way to mount it

if my car wasn't covered in snow right now id go outside to access the possibilities, but that aint happening, lol

When I saw the picture I was getting the flamethrower out, 'cause I thought he wanted to make those hood vents. =P

What about the honda hood props? Those are the finder mounted ones... I know the focuses are too. And I know you can find those all over junkyards.

both good options

and with a little fabrication you could add a hole to your hood, then make a plate that pop rivits over the hole as a reinforcement so it doesnt fold in on ya and dent the outside of the hood

when the hoods up that far on a windy day it sure will catch alot of air, the reinforcement would be a good idea

On said note above, you will definitely want to figure out a way to when the wind blows it doesn't decide to move your hood into your windshield. Cause that would definitely end in a bad time.

I tried what was mentioned above and it was actually pretty easy. That hatch is pretty nice

I would think u would either have to increase the high how the hood sits, or move it forward, or cut the edges so it will clear as it go 90 degrees. as for as for the hindges, just modify it to go 90 degress, and have it lock as it get to 90. like a clip lock, or whatever it is cooled. I think you can do it, just dont be afriad of trying and be careful.

Off topic but anyone know who makes the wing on that hatch?

I would appreciate it.
