Does anyone here have this Ebay exhaust? (sorry for another Ebay exhaust thread)

Here is the exhaust I am curious about.

If anyone on here happens to have it, I would like to know two things.

First, does it exit at an angle? It is hard to tell from the pictures, and I have yet to find photos of this specific exhaust installed.

Second, I would like to know how loud it is with the silencer in. Is it anywhere close to stock, or is it still quite loud even when silenced?

Of course, pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

165$ shipped, with the test pipe included. I am sure it would still be sunken though, but I plan on buying one of those slide-on extension tips anyway.

i have it and yes its at a slight angle, its actually quite loud, search my posts and youll be able to hear it in my race vids from atco. if you leave the cat on and the silencer in youll be fine however i opted not to and i love how loud and bad a** my car sounds, altho the cops dont lmao.

and thats just a small vid of me messin around but you can hear the exhaust, again thats with the test pipe and no silencer

I have this exhaust, i got it from them whe they were doing 1 cent no reserve auctions so i got it for $99.01 shipped. It is good quality, i have it on my sohc n/a and it is kinda loud but deffining without the silencer. It exits at an angle but it probably will not clear the trans tunnel. We had to pound out the tunnel and change the seat stud for a bolt to make it fit right. It lookks good and has not rusted or cracked and i have been running it for a few months now. Mine also tucked nicely to the bdy so i am not dragging it. I will try and get some pice for you.

This one looks nice as well. Except it does not have a resonator on the piping. Tough choice.

that specific one looks like it might come out straight. the silencer in will probably make it raspy; mine definitely did. mine did not come with a test pipe, but it would have been nice... those cat bolts are a b****

Ended up ordering this. 129$ shipped. Killer.

Does anyone know where to buy a nice extension tip?Something like this, but preferably without the titanium finish, and for less than 40$ shipped.

Maybe I will just get that one, if I do not finding anything else by tonight. On Ebay they are 40$ shipped. It might look kind of cool.

I sell this thin metal at work that can easily be bent around a tip. Maybe I will try it on my apex n1 and get some pics.

The silencer will go in at night.

If it is still too loud, I'll just wedge a potato in it.

like the way that sounded. A little deeper then the one on my civic. When I find my 240 I may just have to order one of those. Gotta have something to hold me over till I get an sr20 haha

i had that on my old coupe,it fit really well and came out straight.it even cleared the bumper pretty well. i would get it again if i ever find another coupe that i can afford.it was loud as hell though, but it should come with a silencer(i never used it,haha) it sounded very good though, not raspy but pretty deep.i loved it,it fit well as well.pick it up and you will not be disapointed.>>>>>>>>>>>A.J.

The exhaust I ordered came in.

No complaints so far.The piping seems thicker than other exhausts I have owned, but maybe that is just my imagination. The silencer was kind of a pain to remove. I believe someone above shares the same problem. I ended up finding a thin pipe that I stuck in through the back, and hammered out the silencer from the inside. How difficult the silencer is to remove is usually a hit and miss affair, and that is true for many exhausts. So once again, I cannot complain, especially for how cheap this exhaust was.

Now I am just hoping it will fit with my aero.

So a 3inch exhaust will bolt up to a 2.5 inch cat?

Yes. All headers for the KA are 2.5" anyway, as far as I know. Just make sure to always use the smaller gasket, which would be 2.5" in this case.
