I'm looking for the spring that goes on the timing belt tensioner. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Any aftermarket place like napa or even autozone maybe should be able to get those. do the standard '88 pulsar nx se part lookup and you'll be fine.

Yup, should be a standard part. If you can't get it from a parts outlet, go to Nissan.
