I am thinking about doing this with my sohc tach, with my rb20, but what is a tam wire... Google yields nothing :-(

Cheaper then getting a DOHC it seems. I dunno what a TAM is but the wire is yellow with a stripe like he said.

Yeah, that is the same one that comes out at the connector where the temp gauge wire goes into... yellow and red...

and it goes into the engine bay to yellow and red??
