Doubtful, there is no separate p/n for the main caps/girdle that I can see. Plus line boring is $$$..

Is this what your talking about? This came off a RB20 block that no good anymore. I'd let you have it cheap but, eh? is right, your going to spending some money to have it line bored. I'm not 100% this will bolt to the RB25 block either, maybe someone else could chime in on that. I do know the mains are the same size.

well I have a fsm for it and it turns out to be cam brackets but no, rb20 and rb25 cam brackets are not similar. But thanks for helping out.

in other words you are looking for the camshaft caps (aka cam caps). Main caps are referred to the girdle which was posted above that holds the crankshaft to the block.

Replacing either will require line boring as mentioned.

bought the motor with cam caps off and not marked. How can I tell which ones which? about a couple were off.

They should be stamped I1-I7 and E1-E7 right on the top. All my RB25's had the caps stamped. You gotta make sure you put the cap in the right direction too.

Yes and you can dowload a full service manual(fsm) that will explain to reassembly of the head in detail

Also cam caps all face toward the exhaust side. Ie.. you should be able to read the stamp marks properly if you were standing on the exhaust side.

on some rb20s there not marked it really blows. pretty much easyer and cheaper to get a new head w. cams valves and caps. plus then you have backup valves
