Assuming they haven't gone non-stock, and I'd be surprised because I think most of the side feed injector setups from that era used the same cap, it might be easier to just order it new. Be sure you're lubricating your injector's o-rings with a smear of motor oil before you try to insert them in to the rail. I've never head of these breaking before, so I can't help but think that if you're trying to force an injector in to the rail without lubrication, that could be causing your breaking issue. I learned how important lubrication was the hard way when I replaced injectors the first time. If you pinch an upper o-ring you have a fuel leak under the hood. Lower o-ring and you're dumping raw fuel into the engine and potentially hydrolocking the engine. In my case, I had a slow leak-down. I never confirmed for sure if it was a faulty "re-manufactured" injector that I was using, or the o-ring, but either way - lube is necessary.
