keywords here "pro racing" why would he need as much front downforce as a "pro racing" team. If I am guessing correctly, they don't use them for appearance.musashin wrote:You guys don't seem to realize, even after assumedly reading the splitter thread, that pro racing team splitters are often made of wood?

Pro racing teams also have slicks, complete carbon fiber bodies, and 20 sponsor stickers. Does that mean everyone should do that too?musashin wrote:You guys don't seem to realize, even after assumedly reading the splitter thread, that pro racing team splitters are often made of wood?
No, it doesn't. But we're not discussing whether the OP should use a splitter, we're discussing the best way for him to do it.ak47johnson wrote:Pro racing teams also have slicks, complete carbon fiber bodies, and 20 sponsor stickers. Does that mean everyone should do that too?
Really guy??? While I respect the opinions of everyone, it is hard to do it when people come back with the smart a** replies. I am sure if someone has 20 sponsors its not a street car, I am not trying to build a race car. I just wanted to see if anyone had done the plywood splitter + diamond lock lip.ak47johnson wrote:Pro racing teams also have slicks, complete carbon fiber bodies, and 20 sponsor stickers.
