Does anyone else get hate from other 240 owners

I was just wondering if any of you other guys get hated on by other 240 owners because i do. I've had a 240 before they were in any mag. These guys are making me mad!!!

being as this is an enthusiast club, we get really tired of newbs in here posting the same damn questions 5 times in one day, when they could just hit the search button and find the answer in the same amount of time it took them to post. Then after they post their stupid arse question and we get mad at them, they have the nerve to get mad at us, it's just not right.

But seriously, i live 20 mins outside downtown LA, and i have only run into s13 owners who are absolutly cool as f^ck. Dont know where you people are at, but whenever i roll up on someone its a hour and a half conversation. I love and respect all 240 owners ive met........... Yeah i guess even you guys :beerchug

its because enthusiast know about the car, its capabilities, and they love to see other people who are as interested and informed as they are. honda's are like a competition of who can have the coolest "tricked" out honda or something (just an idea because I'm not one of them). there is little respect in the import scene, its always bigger, better, dumber body kit, who can fit the most subs/nos/stickers/largest wheels all in one car.

i gotta say the 240 owners here are all cool....cept for one fool with a rice-cake kit. but yeah everyone i've pulled up too is all about "yeah let's slide sometime!" of course there's only been 4 so far. and two were japanese exchange students going to the university.

I get hate from EVERY 240 owner in town except my 2 friends.... but do you know why? BECAUSE I'VE GOT THE FASTEST ONE!!! (And nicest one too )

Not this guy who shows up to my local autoX, he has a z32 TT and talks smack and never registers at the time your'e supposed to and watches us, last autoX, after we were done our runs and had time to do 'fun-runs' the officials actually let him enter! (rule is, is that you have to be there the whole day like the rest of us, and pay the entry fee) Bastard was running over cones and going off course all over because he decided to go fast on his first time, i was laffing my *** off cause he had one of the coordinators ride with him too.

Anyhow, i TRY to give a thumbs up to other 240 drivers, only 1 person has so far, some old guy, shoot, 240owners here seem to not care about their cars, i rarely rarely see any fixed up ones.

don't get me started about this 240owner that i invited to an autoX, talked with, and he didn't show up! Monkey's uncle... grrrrr

last time i saw him he said he's going to sell his 90' 240, and get a classic SE-R, i was like, WTF? how do you go back to fwd after having a 240?Se'rs are great and all, but damn............

other than me there are only like 3 for real 240 enthusiasts in my town. one has a s13 HB with a kit and rims, not sure about performance. we wave whenever we see each other. i've never talked t him, but at least he's aware of me

i've never had any problems with anyone really, i get along with almost everyone when i go out street racing, 240/supra/300zx it's all about one thing really CARS we all share in that one thing and we all get along about it, but i guess i am friends with most of them... but other 240 owners have never hated on me, always go over and talk to them about plans and such

Uh, seriously, when my buddy and I showed up at the track the other night everyone looked at our S13's like "what the hell is that?" The domestic guys were pretty surprised when our rear tires squealed and not the front. Oh well. Maybe someday they'll learn.

As far as other 240's around here, most are just transportation for people. Not many enthusiasts, but no riced out 240's either.

The only 240 owners other than me in my town (st pete, FL) are old farts and women. It sucks. I have never seen a decently modded 240 in my area. Soon i will be the first. Maybe its cause St Pete is God's waiting room.

I have seen about 5 s13 and 2 s14 in my town, but I only had talk to 2 guys. One works at a muffler shop and the other one used to play softball with me back in college.They're cool. I'm gonna see if we can get together to go to a race strip they got 30 minutes from here.You pay $15 and can race all you want with who ever.I heard there's a lot of people that goes there.

Yeah, i only know of a couple of 240s around here. Most of them are just a way to get around for people. But there is one really riced out 240, this guy spray painted his wiper blades white and spray painted his taillights to resemble 180sx taillights. The only engine mods he has that i know of, if you could call it that, is a Muffler, i think its an HKS not sure though.

you aren't looking hard enough then, there's a lot of 240 enthusiasts around st. pete/tampa, there's a red s13 there that's supposed to be kinda fast and a fair amount of drifters...it's all about finding the right abandoned building to look behind on the next rainy day
