The last time it went off on me was when I was working underneath the front of the car...y'know, right where the horns are... I got a mark on my head from my reaction.

I've had my A/C for about 2 wks and have had set off twice. Both times it was my wife getting home from work and throwing her keys (my spare) into her purse, freak her out both times.

Lately I've started to do it frequently for some reason. I'm sure my neighbors love it.

Happens all the time, whenever im working on it and have the keys in my pocket, sometimes the trunk ends up opening aswell. The worst was in the winter the unlock button got stuck down and the windows opened a bit, and it happened to snow that night so when I got in the car in the morning it had a few inches of snow in it

I set mine off this morning, was not the first time either. I wish there was some way to disable it. I have looked in the owner’s manual and I cannot find any way to disarm it. Maybe I will have to get on of those key fob covers.T C

Don't tell me you think that key fob HOLDER in below the trunk button and VDC button is for charging your fob.

I know the dealer said to me when I picked it up that it was a charger lmao,

haha I guess I'm lucky because i only seem to always pop my effin trunk instead of set my alarm off. I've had several occasions where I've started my car and the little warning on the dash is on for my trunk being open.

It happens a lot to me when I'm in the house with my fob and keys in my pocket. My wife thinks it's real funny and that I must be some kind of dufus that I can't seem to stop doing it. Then again, she thinks that for a lot of other reasons, anyway...

Happens to me all the time. Alarm just went off 2 days ago when I was laying on the couch watching tv. I got the key fob cover from The Jacket Store but that hasn't helped as much as I would like. I keep my fob in my pocket with my tons of other keys and my cell phone and if they get smooshed together something goes off.

I've had the windows roll down while it was raining, had the trunk open all night, had the alarm goes off, etc.

Hi-

3-4 times a week my trunk is open in the morning, have set the alarm off multiple times. I bought the little silicon cover and it seems to not help at all. This is a REALLY POOR design. I'm going to try and fabricate something to snap over the top of the thing to keep the buttons from being depressed. (Use the little buttons on the door and trunk to unlock.)

All the time. I tend to leave my keys in my pants pocket, and then de-pant before bed. Then I forget and wander around, stomping on my pants in the process.

This is when it usually goes off.

It's not just the Alarm but several times I start driving I see the Trunk is open.

What's worst is when I crash to bed and the next morning my Windows are down. Once it was raining, not heavy though. Thank God.

Anyone try one of these things? Looks to be WAY over-priced. I think 6-8 bucks would be about right. (If it handled the problem.)
