does anybody know where to weld your diff in los angeles area

Find a friend with a welder and give him a 6 pack. Thats what I would take to do it with my welder. To bad I dont live in cali (yet).

Yeah weld the spider gears together, But make sure the person doing it gets good penetration ( I said penetration) when they weld it or else the weld will break.

There is a guy in your area that weld these for like 50 bucks. Check him out on Zilvia. Do a search for locd weld version 4. There are people saying lots of nice things about his work and the performance.

weld the spider gears together and then weld the spiders to the carrier itself to ensure no slop. also be sure to cover the ring and pinion in anti-spatter so you do not get any slag on them. btw dont bother second guessing welding it to the carrier i built 4x4 trucks and have never broken a welded carrier only r&p from 40" tires putting to much stress on the drivetrain.
