It was last night, I was at the store getting changes to feed the meter. and I saw the cop stop by my car. so, I ran to him. you know tried to stop him from writing me a ticket. and the cop told me he started the first letter, he couldn't void the ticket. He was very nice and told me a trick to get away from that ticket.

here is how based on what he said,"if you have a friend any1 that have the handicap tag(the one hangs on the rear view mirror). get the number from that tag, and the name of the tag's owner. call the number on the ticket and explain that the cop wans't noticed the tag was there. since that, the car could park there for another hour from the expire time." yes, the cop didn't state that my car wasn't handicap on the ticket.

he was nice to me. but, you know, 10 more seconds i could've just avoid all of these..

I dont know any1 that has handicap tag. so please, if you guys have or know anybuddy that has it. Please email me the number and the name. I reallie cant afford any more tickets

Thanks in advance

I'm really sorry you got a parking ticket. Your right 10 seconds earlier and you wouldn't need an excuse. But you got back 10 seconds late, and that officer had no right to try and tell you to find a handicap tag. That is a totally inappropiate use of the handicap tag parking laws. I suggest just paying the fine and next time spend less time where you were and get back to your car before the meter expires. better luck next time.

Wait...you want someone with a real handicap permit to loan it to you so you can get out of a ticket you got by parking in a handicap space?? Now that is irony!

Or was this even a handicap space?? *confused*

he should of just not given you the ticket instead of telling you all this to get out of it...

i believe what he is saying is....

handicap people are allowed to be at the meter for one more hour after the time expires.

He needs only the number and the name of the tag so that he can explain to the place that he actually has a handicap tag but the cop did not notice the tag hence he was allowed to stay one more hour.

I don't know what they do to double check the validity of the tag you get but it sounds it might not work because the name on the tag will differ the name under your license plate... so...??? maybe you could say your friend was driving it or something.

I would help you out if I had a tag but sorry I do not.

yes, that's the point. handicap people could carry the tag with them to whatever cars they drive. So, I only have to tell a story about a handicap people was driving my car and the cop didn't noticed the tag was hanging on the rear view mirror..

My brother has about 10-20 parking tickets in his back seat. And this is the newer car. I can only imagine what his last car was like. He's never paid any of them, matter of fact, he said most of the tickets never made it into his car. I can't imagine parking tickets being that bad if my brother hasn't gotten in any trouble for never paying them.

Good luck getting a number, I hate old people and that seems to be the majority of the handicap people. So I have no complaints about you using them to your benefit.
