does any one know how to take a door handle out

im trying to buy door handles for my s14 and this kid is haveing the worst time getting them out i took mine out and the fell out is there any thing differnt with the powerd locks that might be getting in his way heres a pic help please



he took the rod off and the bolts to the handle so that out of the question
