Well my car was miss firing and my mechanic finally figured it out and said it is my transistor unit........I have a 6 clyinder car and it was only runnning on about 4-5.......is it possible for the transistor unit to cause this???????????????????????????????????

Your mechanic sucks.

I'd ask him to put that in writing. New transistor unit is $340 from the dealer - he can pick up the tab if it doesn't help.

I'd recommend getting a known good used one from the members here and try that first.

Well what he is going to do is order the part and try it out and if it doesnt help then he is going to send it back....I would never pay for it first.......I hope he know what he is doing!!! I personaly thought it was maybe a couple injectors!!
