does any one have dyno info on a sohc ka ecu running a dohc ka motor

i know..... sounds silly but I have a dohc swapped pignose running the factory sohc wiring harness, ecu and gauge cluster. i can't be the only one who has done it. so my question is if anyone else has done it if they dynoed it. I'm curious to know if it puts down the same numbers as a factory dohc car. any insight or am I really the only one? either way, I'm planning a trip to the local dyno before I do any major mods. I'd love to hear from you kids about this.

I guess that makes me a pioneer. glad I did a write up. I'll let ya'll know when I get a baseline.

Are you running an auto KAE ecu? I'm quite curious about this as well as I just had a '98 KADE swap done in an '89.

The car's original dyno on the single before the swap was 106, but we haven't dynoed it since then.

nope, mine is a manual ecu. I did the swap and literally all i swapped was the motor. I don't know of anyone else who has done this. how did you pull it off?

so you are running the sohc engine harness/ecu/gauge cluster/maf/coil/etc? I dont see how that's possible plug for plug. Pics?

hey i saw ur conversation about your 89 with the 98 swap similar to what im doing! i'm new to 240sx im a Nissan guy i had 4 maximas and 2 were turbo i liked those easier lol! well heres the snag man i bought a 1990 240sx for dirt cheap with 150,000 miles but the owner didn't really take care of it so i wanted to do the dohc swap so i found a dohc motor from a 1997 and bought it thinking it would work and a buddy of mine looked around and said that it wont work cuz of the obd1 and obd2 deal so now im stuck the motor has 60,000 miles on the dohc and i dont want to get rid of it so do you got any ideas? let me know bro i would really appreciate it thankZ!!! my e-mail is [email protected]
