as far as differences, it's all appearance and suspension, otherwise similar to the GT without the leather

, The NIsmo Z is similar to the GT except the NIsmo Z does not have VDC, Buetooth, Bose, and Leather.

In addition the Nismo Z has a welded chassis and extra supports in the front engine bay. It also has a redesigned Air Intake area. It has body dampers similar to F1 racing cars. ANd the best of it all it has a functional body kit and it ends up weighing around 3,300 lbs thats a whole 100lbs lighter than the GT. The Nismo is a bargain when you add up what you get with the car and the car's exculsivity. And dont forget the Grey Nismo Tachometer

I have been considering trading in my 07 Z to get the Nismo, too bad the resale on my car sucks and I would loose about $10 grand, with the 09 Z looming, I might just get the 09 instead.

...hope this info helps you out...and go get your Nismo Z, the invoice on those cars are $36,500 so expect to pay around $37 to 38K.

I have an 07 Grand Touring with every available option and 6 spd. Performance is the same as nismo Z, just no wing and decals. IMO I like mine better i could have bought one at the time but I could not get used of that big a$$ wing.

I think one or two people on here have one. The only real difference is the NISMO parts and more welds for body stiffness.

Google the nismo z. You will find the Road And Track test drive info plus other articles. Good info.

I have owned a '04 350z (loaded with Nismo parts) and now currently own a '07 Nismo and I must say that the factory mods and new engine make all the difference. The factory Nismo parts and stripped down options were perfect for me. I have made some modifications and add-ons to fill in gaps that I perceive were missing with the Z.

The handling is amazing and the acceleration is great with the new engine and Nismo CAI. Also, you get a unique Z...
