when you turn your fan volume control to off position, do you still get air blowing out? even just a little?

Yes, that is how it is supposed to work, the faster you drive the more air flow will result because of your momentum.

If you want to completely turn off the air flow into the vehicle, you need to push the "recirculate" button - simply turning the fan to "off" will only turn the fan off but not limit air flow in to the vehicle.

thanks even i was curious about the same thing....

this means to turn of the air, the vents have to be closed...

this has to be done in all the cars? just a regular question - this is what my dealer told me

the vents don't have to be closed to stop air from coming in.when fan is off and you don't want air coming in, turn the airflow knob to MAX/AC. this will close the vents that let air in. the recirculate button will not work if the knob is not in MAX/AC position. and recirculate only works when you turn on the fan in MAX/AC

someone correct me if i'm wrong because i'm speaking from experience.
