Should I remove my IACV and clean it? Or does the ECU totally control the idle speed? Aftermarket IACV's have no idle ajustment on them. The guy told me at Auto zone that my car's idle adjustment cannot be adjusted and I told him the FSM says it can. So who's correct?

Much curiousKen

Thanks VC, but have already done it both ways and still no change in idle. I really shouldn't worry much as my idle is already at a steady 7-750 rpm. Do you think maybe the unit is gummed up? I think I'm just looking for an excuse to pull it apart, but then I would need a new gasket.Ken
