does a VG30 crank and conrod fit into VQ30?

i was wondering if this was true, i remember reading somwhere a while back that if you take out the crank and rods from a 300zx VG30 and fit them into the VQ30 it will become a 3.4 liter. i was wondering if anyone of you could confirm this, or if u have the 2 cranks layign around and could measure this.

I'm not sure, but a VQ35 crank will fit in a VQ30DE or DE-K and makes it roughly 3.3
