does a 1991 q45 have this feature

I have the manual for a 1994 q45 and I think Hatian king said "95% applies to a 1991 q45" so- when i put my car in reverse will the mirrors go down so i can see how close i am to the curb or is that for a 1994 q45 and up only?

Why don't you get a 91 manual? I have a 94 car with a 94 manual.

No, the earlier models didn't have this feature. The reason for not having a '91 manual is probably because it's not available for free download. Time to start looking on eBay (or keep asking questions here).

If you haven't replaced your timing chain guides, all questions are in vain.

I have a '96 Q and the mirror does not have this feature, unless it never worked to begin with.I've had the car 8 years and never saw the mirror tilt down

It has the feature,you just never took the time to learn how to use it{hint,its in the owners manual}

From what I've read, I believe you turn the mirror selector knob to the mirror you want to tilt down then put it in reverse. Something along those lines.

it's a new mirror but the original never did it either.Oh well

Didn't the one-touch sunroof get discontinued in 94? My '92 has it. I still get a kick out of watching people look when my driver's window is descending and the sunroof is retracting and my hands are nowhere near the controls.

When I said about 95%, I meant more on the overall information. There are differences. Connectors, features, and things of that sort. I use the '94 FSM for reference in regard to my '92 and I find it extremely helpful. Some of the wiring diagrams and other illustrations (namely the engine and transmission diagrams) are quite perplexing to me, seeing as how I have a limited mechanical background.

It's a damn sight better than not having anything at all.

I have a 93 and a 94 and it seems nearly everything uses different harnesses, connectors and such. The only thing that seems to be the same is the engine. The 93 and 94 have automatic sunroof, but the 94 can also close automatically.

The reverse mirror is a REALLY awesome feature I like to park backwards a lot but its not very useful since it doesn't move down far enough for my seating position. One thing I miss in the 94 is the heated mirrors, they are so handy.

AHHH! I see LMAO! I usually avoid defogging the rear window since I have no tint (gives me a feel of more privacy). Guess I'll check it now. Thanks.

It would be even better if both mirrors would move down when you put it in Reverse.

i'd love to see if i have all these goodies on my car... *sigh i have seen a "defroster" button next to the switch controlling my side mirrors haven't had a chance to try em...

another plus... my climate control... (air con display) is no-show but i know it works i just play around till i feel some hot air... HAHA!

just wanna see... do u guys know if the trunklid completely changes the look of the rear end of a jdm converted 'president' & is it just a sort of adhesive on it so its like a "bolt-on" kinda thign oing on!?! thanks for the help NICO godly 1z!
