Does 1996 Infiniti I30 have immobiliser??

Hello I'm about to install viper in my 1996 Infiniti I30 and I was just wondering if this car has an immobilizer. Some websites say it does and others say it does not... I recently got a spare key done for it at home depot and the spare is working just fine so I don't think it has an immobilizer as I heard that the new key wouldn't work if the car did have immobilizer.
