I was thinking of getting a dodge conquest as a second car and I know nothing about them. Are they dependable?

Its the same as the Starion. 180hp (i think) RWD, nice FMIC intercooler from the factory. they are pretty good cars with a pretty good engine. one of Mitsubishis better cars.

Actually I think it's a Chrysler Conquest IIRC. The 2.6L motor is one of Mitsu's old truck motors, so it's more stoutly built than most other 4 cyl DSM's. It's a decent car, I really like them myself, and the Mitsu Starion. Not easy to find anymore.

I really like them, but my friends uncle says they are expensive to fix. he works at a chrysler dealership in the oparts department. Mad props on wanting a unique car though. I've thought about buying one myself.

yeah, they ARE rather expensive getting stuff for. but they are pretty cool looking, kind of a 86 on steriods. i wouldnt mind have a starion, silver. i saw a bad azz looking blue one here in Dallas. really nice with black mesh rims w/polished lip.

They are very very expensive to fix. My boy has one in flawless shap and he stoped driving it just cause the electronic parts were so expensive. Its like 800bucks for a spark box.

jeez! i knew a guy who found one, auto though, but it looked ok, needed some work, but was way cooler than the Fiero he bought after it and now he owns a gay looking Firebird with dual dual-dtm style tips, so annoyingly loud. he should have kept the Starion.
