Hey guys. i recently bought his kickplates from another member recently. but unfortunately i don't have his instructions. i know he posted them here online but the instructions were kinda cut off. i was hoping if someone can tell me what wires i need to tap into. i believe it's the courtesy lights in the door but i dont know where and which wires are which. please correct me if im wrong on this though. I'm home for the day from college and would like to wire them up. also, if you have any useful hints on installing then it would be appreciated. thanks..

You will enjoy those... just follow Doc's instructions. The hardest part I had was getting the wiring through the door/dash rubber conduit. Be patient and take your time. I have the carbon fiber w/NISSAN in blue, love them and that is one people that see my car admire the most.

Yes, the kicks are wired to each door separately. I found it's easier to use something like a long zip tie to push through the rubber door boot. Then, tie the wires to it and pull them back through. It was a huge challenge for me since I have aftermarket wires for my speakers running through there taking up a lot of space. Without those, it should be much easier. I'm pretty comfortable with taking the car apart (I've done it so many times for the stereo I could probably do it in my sleep), but I don't think it should take longer than about 2 hours for anyone. Post up if you have any problems and we'll try to help. You will definitely enjoy them once they're in.

Or butt connectors. Radioshack has those as well. Don't strip the wires, get some wire tap-ins from the shack when you are there. Much easier and you wont risk severing the wires.
