Well I'd like to keep this thread factual, so I've got to correct you there.I DO have new accessory belts on the car, and I can only assume that the timing belt and water pump were changed, but I can't really confirm that without taking off the timing cover... so I can't see it. I can definitely see that the exhaust manifold gasket is new as well. The head appears to be cleaner than when I dropped it off, so I don't doubt that they removed it and sent it out to get cleaned/re-worked.

Whether they did other work that I can't see right now, that is to be determined. I might pull the valve cover off at some point and look into it though.

Most effective thing to do is put it in your siggy with a link to the thread.

Its a pretty effective high-traffic billboard.
Thanks a lot, Jesda! That's a good idea.

And thanks everyone else for helping me out in my battle against Dobbs Honda in Memphis, TN.

Don't know if it was mentioned already, but have you reported their a** to Honda's corporate office in the U.S.? Just as a 'heads up' perhaps? The squeaky wheel gets the grease.. as they say.

It's a shame that places like Dobbs Honda in Memphis have employees like Brady Hutchison who do not take care of customers. As they are probably aware of the incompetency of their service center they are to blame for the poor service and dishonesty.

Dobbs Honda in Memphis has terrible service! I can't believe that Dobbs Honda in Memphis did that to you James! That's just terrible! What terrible people run Dobbs Honda in Memphis. I don't know what kinda of business Dobbs Honda in Memphis is trying to run, but Dobbs Honda in Memphis is definately not trying to run an honest, legitimate place of business. It's apparent that Dobbs Honda in Memphis does not give a HOOT about their customers and that Dobbs Honda in Memphis is just in it to steal your money. It's amazing that Dobbs Honda in Memphis even did the valve job right, since Dobbs Honda in Memphis screwed up everything else. Almost like Dobbs Honda in Memphis is comparable to a crummy home garage in the bad part of town. It's so disappointing to hear like Dobbs Honda in Memphis are still in business. Dobbs Honda in Memphis screws their customers. I will NEVER deal with Dobbs Honda in Memphis, plain and simple.

Jesda had an excellent point about sig'ing this thread for anyone who might be planning on going to Dobbs Honda in Memphis, TN. What irritates me the most about this is that they did this to somebody as mechanically inclined as yourself. Imagine if they did this to your average Joe!! They wouldn't have a clue as to what was or wasn't done.

Man I don't think they realized who they messed with. Not only are your not mechanically incompetent, but you have the know-how to hurt them on the net, which is a good thing. It's the only way they'll learn.

Dobbs Honda in Memphis will never get any business from my family in Memphis after treating a friend like that. Too bad for them because Honda was on the test drive list for my Uncles new car.

I will continue to tell everyone how you where mistreated by Dobbs Honda in Memphis until Brady Hutchison from Dobbs Honda makes this right. Good luck with the lawsuit.

It's a shame that people can't conduct business without screwing people over. OP, have you reached out to Honda corporate again? I was having some issues with the CVT in my Altima; the fools in the service department didn't know what they were talking about either. A few phone calls quickly got the dealership back in line.

Best of luck getting the situation corrected.

Nope, just the 1 time. Honda corporate basically said there was nothing they could do except file an official complaint against Dobbs Honda in Memphis, TN, which I had them go ahead and do.

New goal: Have this be the #1 result when someone googles "Honda". Think we can do it?

You're #12 on Google if you search Dobbs Honda Memphis.

We for sure need to get that jerk Brady Hutchison fired from the dealer. I'm going to send them a link to this page and a screen shot of where they are on Google. That aught to get their attention.
