Do your Versa start when the transmission is in Drive position?

I don't have a AT, but it definately should not start in anything besides Park and Neutral.

It is Impossible to do so , The Gear should be on ( P ) or ( N ) only.It is like Starting a M.T. on ( 1 ) or ( 2 ) and so.

And you can start a M.T. in any gear as long as the clutch is in.

Yes I mean P not D and I've edited it.and for the M.T. I mean without using the clutch u cant start the car.

It starts, but the only way to do that is when you turn on the car on park, put it on Drive then turn the car off and turn it back on
