I buy a LOT of stuff off Amazon. Household items, clothes, office supplies, car parts - yup, car parts.

I've bought brakes, coilovers, spark plugs, plug wires, tires, wheels, filters and hoses, wiper blades. Seriously, I do a LOT of my restorations with Amazon parts.

So, check this out: Amazon is giving everyone an Amazon Prime 30-day Free Trial.

On July 15, they're having a one-day shopping event with more deals than Black Friday. Prime members get unlimited free shipping and a bunch of exclusive deals on electronics, video games, movies, clothing, auto parts, home stuff, and more...

Go to this page: amazon.com/tryprimefree to get your free trial.

I'm about to go stock up on oil filters, some Water Wetter, brakes for the Frontier, some wire connectors and heat shrink... Damn, I got a long list! :) :bigthumb:

Post up your hookups - What are you gonna buy on Prime Day? :woot:

Interesting. I wouldn't mind picking up a new coolant overflow tank for the truck.

FR sport already has it for less, but I imagine most of those savings go away when shipping comes into play.
Then there's always this puppy. Factory looks.

New shifter bushings are definitely something I'll grab during the sale:

And a new vacuum distribution block so I don't have to mess with vacuum Ts.

Oooh - that vac block is cool.

I actually just checked on some tires for the 510 and a caliper paint kit for Bex's car.

Guess I'd better get to work so I can pay for this stuff. :)

Gonna pick up some Keen hiking boots. Have a 30 mile backpacking trip planned in the Rocky Mtn Nat park in 2 wks, so I need some new shoes...and need to run more since most of it is above 10,000ft.

^ Good call.

I think I bought my New Balance off Amazon, and they've since become garage shoes. Time for some new ones!

amazon has allowed me to never really have to step foot into stores, unless i'm buying groceries. socks, sneakers, music (digital and physical copies), lawn equipment parts, vacuum belts and filters, shocks, tie rod ends, and a bunch of other crap i can't remember.

i'm looking forward to hopefully picking up some items on my wishlist.

Got some sweet microfibers and otherwise expensive spray wax today.
Wanted the Pet Roomba, but the damn thing sold out FAST.

NICE. Gonna get Mia a new pet crate (one of those ones that looks like an end table).

MORE importantly ;), going to replenish the stockpile of hardware at Datsun Ranch... washers, rubber grommets, electrical terminals, maybe some 10ga wire.

Gotta snag some more Eneloop rechargeable batteries too. We haven't bought regular AA batteries in over 5 years. :)

Well, there goes another hundred on random parts...
Got a new tailgate handle, window regulators and a coolant reservoir tank. Yup.

Maintenance sucks on old cars...

Great idea!
My stockpile of Duracel recharables is getting old. I've had them about 7 years or so. They still work fairly well, but I feel like this is one of those things that you don't know what you were missing out on until you get new ones (like eyeglasses or something).

Prime Day was a smegging joke. Nothing I'd ever actually buy from Amazon was on sale. The sales were horrendously organized and essentially unsearchable. The timed sales made it tedious and irritating. Each successive page of random nonsense sale items spanned such a broad assortment of items it was almost comical. Baby toys, shower supplies, flash drives, food... I can tell you one thing: my time is worth more than my money and I'm sure as hell not about to spend all day tabbing through page after page of refuse looking for a rare deal. Even worse, items I had found for ACTUAL sale prices in the past few weeks (Like a Samsung ssd) were selling for MORE on prime day. MORE MONEY. So Amazon was right: there were more sales than black Friday. They just happened to all be s***.

Great boots. Just bought my second pair. Put about 500 hiking miles on the first ones and they're just about done.

I'm headed to Glacier NP in late August to go work in the new ones.
