You are saying that your car that you didn't have for 30 days has all the passenger side curtain airbags deployed, and the person who was driving and presumably got swiped doesn't remember what happened?
First of all, at least she's ok, second of all, you really shouldn't be driving a car with all side airbags deployed. I would tow it back to Nissan and check everything out.

This thread has moxie!

With frame and engine damage it should only be towed. I'm assuming there is going to be an insurance claim on the car. If so the tow would be covered.
You didn't say what year your car was, but if it is older then $10K in damage is going to come very close to totaling the vehicle.
I don't know who this other person driving your car was, but not remembering anything, and not knowing who hit them sounds a bit fishy to me.__________________Driving is a privilege. . . and I just revoked your privileges. 07 Winterfrost 3.5 SE December 09 NOTM Join Date: Aug 2007Location: New JerseyPosts: 1,653 Dude you are just straight up screwed and the entire story seems fishy. WHY the **** would you report it stolen??? Lying gets you no wheres. You would have to had a police report stating the car was stolen before trying to do that. Maybe you deserve everything that you got just for trying to lie. Enjoy a nicely ruined Altima.

No that's called irresponsible on your part. Insurance companies need proof even with forced entry theft. Why would they allow yours to go through with no police report and no signs of forced entry??? If they allowed every stolen claim to go through that was stolen especially with a key specifically for that car then everyone who didn't want there car would do just that with ease. Just like you wanted to do. Your a tool. Denied!
