As a base model, it's definitely not the most manly muscle car... obviously. It's not a hulking, high horsepower having, gas guzzling vehicle. Does that make it gay, though? The answer is no. Personally, I don't think any cars are gay per se. They don't have a sexual orientation. A gay person might choose to drive a Versa over... let's say... a 350 Z or the upcoming Camaro or something like that. But for all I know, a gay person might also choose a much sportier car over the Versa. I can see how someone might think the VW Beetle is more of a feminine car, because I know darn well that I could never envision myself driving one, much less owning one. Cars, just like any product, are, for the most part, aimed at marketing them with certain age groups and types of people. I see the Versa as a cool new car with modern styling, useful features, and efficiency: a car that makes good sense that replaces boring with lots of fun for people THAT HAVE GOOD TASTE. So, once again, in its base incarnation, it's not so sporty, but I feel that after all I have done to mine, it is just about as sporty as anything else I see on the road. It's nice to be able to have those sporty looks, 35 mpg, and plenty of room for passengers and other cargo. Try finding that in most of your "very straight" cars.
