I was searching Ebay today during some off time between classes and i slowly realized something, the number of products that a simple search for "240sx" brings up. Its up to 3500!! For ebay motors alone. I dont know if you guys are Ebayers but I’ve been doing random searches on there for quite some time now.

Anyhow back to what I’m reminiscing about. Back about 4 years ago I remember being able to type in “240sx” on Ebay and it would bring up about 250 items. 180sx would usually barely bring up a page, and ka24de would bring up nothing.

Just kinda shows how far the 240 has come in the last 4 years, a double edged sword if you ask me. We get some good aftermarket support now but then again we also get some people similar to the one that started the “when im racing” thread that will continually be bumped to the top. ANYHOW, Do you remember?

yes the "when Im racing" thread is a classic. If you want to know what hes talking about look at my sig.... its funny.

I talked to a guy who owns a local shop around here and he says there are so many people getting a 240 now.... First it was eclipse after FnF then it was MR2 turbo then now its 240...

I like the fact that we're getting more aftermarket support. Thats always a good thing especially the turbo area... KA-T seems more popular these days than before.

No matter what kind of sports car you drive I guess you can always expect some ricers... we'll just cast them out like the "Im a street racer" Theyll go do their stupid things and crash into a tree then more spare cheap parts for me!!! haha

BTW, yea im a crazy ebay guy. I bought my car on ebay too haha

I hear you on the '4 years ago' deal... except for me it was more like 3 years ago when I got my 240. And even then there was very little out there especially with the fact that my 240 is the SOHC model...

Yeah, definatly remember the ebay thing. Strange, that even back when it was pretty small, I still found the exact part I needed on there in a short amount of time.

eaby has its good points and bad points. I too bough my car from Ebay. It is a good thing that we are getting more exposure as wella s a bad thing.

Remember when there were no altezza tail lights for the S14, then all of a sudden we saw one on sale in Japan? Only a matter of time until it gets here.

The biggest thing we have going for us is that we are way more level headed than other car groups/brands. We also have ricers, racers, morons, and dimwits among us. But we also have one of teh best clubs on the net. And, if you don't believe that, just take a look at other forums. They all have great cars, iinfo, etc etc. But, we have the best people.

What the hell was I talking about again? Man, a whole lot of stuff just came outta no where. Finally my brethren, love our cars, protect the brand, be responsible and respect each other. Amen.
